Truman visits Grinnell College
One of my dad's favourite Grinnell stories was about the time that Harry S. Truman visited the college and he literally climbed the auditorium rafters in order to get aerial shots of the former President of the United States. Somehow I don't think you would be able to get away with that today.

Just doing a little research (diary entries) that have the date of Truman's visit to Grinnell as October 23, 1963 (could be off, but is most likely right). The Truman Library website also lists the visit as October 1963. This is an amazing picture...your fathers? Thanks for sharing.
